The Power Tower is home to the Titan Coromon named Voltgar and we've been tasked with collecting it's essence!
After Thomas gets abducted by the group known as the Wubbonians, we need to make sure they aren't going after the Titan Essence as well, located at the Power Tower.
The Power Tower is on the right side of Donar Island and contains 6 different floors of puzzles for us to get through, so bring plenty of HP Cakes!
You can find a Clear Cake just before going inside the Power Tower and a Trick Spinner near the NPC with the Umbrella.
Power Tower
Luckily, there are no random encounters in the Power Tower. However, there a lot of Trainer Battles here- which is great for getting that sweet, sweet XP!
Power Tower Floor 1
The Power Tower contains 6 floors.
Floor 1 will require you to flip different switches to unlock the elevator room to get to Floor 2.
The Power Tower has the checkpoint system in place, so you'll be able to select each floor at the entrance once you've unlocked it, allowing you to nip back to the Trainer Hub for any healing.

To get through Floor 3 is fairly easy. Use our map above to find the right tiles to use to get to the Elevator for Floor 4!
Power Tower Floor 4
Floor 4 contains a memory and process-of-elimination puzzle created by Mr. Mind.
The door is locked behind a puzzle that requires you to guess the right colors for each switch. There are 4 switches and you must figure out the correct colors and order that they go in.
You are given 6 different colored switches and there are only 4 switches needed, so two of them are not going to be needed.
You get 10 guesses until the game is reset and you have to try again. Between each round, Mr. Mind will try to put you off by giving you a countdown to make a decision, scramble the previous results, turn the room to darkness and other fun effects.
Tactics
The board below the gate will show your previous results. If you get a color in the right location, you'll get a green tick. If you get the right color but in the wrong position, you'll get an orange marker and if the color is wrong altogether, you'll get a red cross.
Since you get 10 goes per round, you can use process of elimination to figure out the code.
You don't have to put all your switches each round. You can use this tactic to help eliminate colors which are wrong.
You should only make 1 change per round to help figure out the code.
When you get the first round, you'll want to try and find out any wrong colors. Start by removing one color at a time each round, until you figure out the right colors (and have no red Xs on your board).
Once you have the colors nailed, you can then move one color per round to figure out the position. If you move more than one at a time, it'll be harder to figure out which switch is correct.
If you want to try and cheat, you can also save before entering the room and reset each time you play until you start with 2 or 3 green ticks, making it a lot easier to figure out the code.
Once completed, don't forget to open the Treasure Chest for Combi Cake (s) x2.

Power Tower Floor 6
Wow- well done on reaching the top. Well, almost. Floor 6 there isn't anything to do, but prepare for a boss fight.
Boss Fight - Voltgar
Voltgar is the first Titan you'll face in Coromon. This Electric type Coromon has 418 HP so you're going to need some strong attackers to take him down.
Pro-tip: If you have a strong party, you can gain lots of XP by making your Coromon hold onto Ber Fruit. Any Coromon that gets involved in the fight that is holding a Ber Fruit will gain 2x XP when you win the fight!
Since Voltgar is an Electric type, you'll want to use Sand type attacks and Coromon for that double damage. Coromon like Moffel can get the job done, as well as Normal type Armado with it's Double Slash Sand-Type attack can deal super-high damage.
You'll want your squad to have several level 25+ Coromon. If you only have one Coromon that is high level, you can send out your other Squad Members to die and use their turn to resurrect your main Coromon with a Phoenix Shard.
Any Coromon that can induce status effects against Voltgar are great too. Frova (Ice type) can use Hypno Wave to send Voltgar to sleep.
At about 50% HP, Voltgar uses his Pure Essence skill, which makes all your Skills use more SP (+2). He can also cast Shock on any of your Coromon using Taser, so if you have any Ground Cake, give them to your Coromon to hold for an auto-cure.
Voltgar's Spark Disc can hit up to 3 times and drain your SP; depending on RNG you might want to restart the fight if this moves hits you too hard!
He has two power skills called Surge Charge, these take two turns to charge up so if you can tank them they offer great opportunities to cast Sleep or heal up.
Check out the video below to see how we beat Voltgar!
After the fight, you gain Electric Essence from the Titan. You'll also get a call from Rigel asking you to meet him at the Buzzlet Lab for a debrief.
Rigel confirms the Wubbonians have used Titan Essence power to kidnap Thomas. He asks you to collect the next Titan Essence to prevent the Wubbonians from getting it and it is located in the City Of Pewberry!
You'll also now get access to the Traitformator and the Potentiflator to help power up your Coromon!
And that wraps up Part 4 of the Coromon Walkthrough! Let us know how you got on with Voltgar and what tactics you used to take him down in the comments below!

Also, just in case anyone reads this, there is a Paya Fruit if you face the book to the right of the computer in Room E on the first floor of the Power Tower
