Would you pay to use Twitter/X?

Apparently Elon Musk is planning on charging new users to post on Twitter/X to prevent bots.

IDK how many of you use the platform but would you ever consider paying to post on Twitter ? Sounds bizarre to me

We pay for Twitter Premium (which is like $9/month or something) to hopefully reach more people.

If I was an average user, I don't think I'd pay money to post unless it was to try and build up some kind of following.

So it's probably worth it if you're an influencer/website/business.

Not a lot. A blue tick and apparently better reach with your tweets. But I don't notice too much of a difference to feel it's worth it so...

We've been using it for the last few months and honestly, the amount of engagement you get for $9 versus free isn't really worth it so far.

Probably give it another few months then cancel.

I mean the bots of twitter are crazzzzzzy right now... so I can understand why they want to charge.

But I don't think your average social media user is going to want to pay considering every other platform is free.
