The next Pokemon TCG set to be released this year is Journey Together, coming in March 2025. This set is part of the Scarlet and Violet series, making it the 9th main set entry in the series.

Journey Together is a set similar to the classic Pokémon TCG: Gym Heroes set first released in 2000, featuring popular trainers and gym leaders from the Pokemon series.
Journey Together will feature the Pokemon Trainer's name in the card title and the set will feature over 159 different cards.
As part of the set, the collection will also contain:
- Four Trainer’s Pokémon ex
- 16 Pokémon ex
- 11 illustration rare Pokémon
- Six special illustration rare Pokémon
- Three hyper rare gold etched cards
What is the Pokemon TCG Journey Together release date?
Pokemon TCG Journey Together will release officially on March 28th 2025.
The set will follow Prismatic Evolutions (SV8.5) which is to be released next week (January 17th 2025).

Journey Together Japanese Set - Battle Partners
Journey Together is the name of the English set for the Pokemon TCG and is based off Japanese Sets: Battle Partners.
Japan is the first to get the latest Pokemon TCG cards, and the English version usually takes cards from Japan sets to create their own.
Battle Partners is set to release in Japan on January 2025 so we'll get an idea of what cards will be inside Journey Together when that releases.
