A brand new Disney Lorcana special set called the D23 Collection is set to go on sale this week (August 9th 2024) and we've got you covered on how you can get your hands on this illusive product!
To celebrate Disney's D23 Event, Lorcana will be releasing a brand new special set of 6 cards featuring alternative artwork of previous cards released (and future ones too).
The collection contains the following 6 promo cards with "expanded artwork":
- Mickey Mouse - Brave Little Tailor (The First Chapter)
- Cinderella - Stouthearted (Rise Of The Floodborn)
- Ursula - Deceiver (Into The Inklands)
- Bruno Madrigal - Undetected Uncle (Ursula's Return)
- Vanellope Von Schweetz - Sugar Rush Princess (Shimmering Skies)
- Oswald - The Lucky Rabbit (Set 6 - TBA)
Vanellope Von Schweetz is also a part of the Shimmering Skies set that is to be released on the same day. Oswald is from Set 6, which has yet to be announced, so you're going to get an early peak at the 6th upcoming set!
The set will be available on Friday August 9th 2024.
Fans who attend the D23 convention will be able to purchase the D23 Collector's Set for a price of $99.99, limited to two per person.

UK: Disney Store London
Ireland: Disney Store Dublin
France: Disneyland Paris
Australia: Disney Store Pop-Up Experience, Melbourne (D23 Collection Available August 10-12, 2024, or while supplies last)
The D23 Event is held each year to celebrate Disney franchises; the fan-event is usually held in America and is usually filled with exclusive announcements, reveals and future product launches.
Lorcana is no stranger to D23. In 2022, Lorcana was revealed to the world at D23, with a limited edition of Lorcana first-edition cards given out to attendees, which now sell for thousands of dollars each! If you managed to grab them at the time, they are now some of the most sought after Lorcana cards.
Whilst it is difficult to determine how available these new D23 Collector cards will be, it's safe to say they will likely have a larger print run now that the Lorcana has established itself as a TCG.
Back in 2023, Lorcana also released a special Disney100 Set that included 6 new cards. These enchanted promo cards were available for $49.99 in a special collectors box, sold all over the world at major stores and retailers. You can still pick up a box for the same price today on 3rd party marketplaces.
With D23 Collector's Set being limited to only special Disney stores, it's likely these cards will be harder to get hold of than the D100 cards.
