A sneak teaser showing an upcoming Lorcana set called Fabled has appeared on the Lorcana Official Website. We anticipate this to be the 9th set of the Lorcana TCG series, releasing in Q3 of 2025!
Not much is known about this mysterious set, having been shown off at the London Toy Fair in 2025.
The set is titled Fabled, with the feature image showcasing Minnie and Mickey in their classic forms. Could this set feature cards similar to The First Chapter?
The London Toy Fair has been a regular destination of Ravensburger (the company behind the Lorcana TCG) and has been used in the past to show off Lorcana products, news and upcoming sets.
With Set 7 Archazia's Island now official out, and Reign Of Jafar to come later in May, speculation now turns to the new upcoming Fabled set.
This will be the 9th main-set in the Lorcana series. On The Lorcana Website, you can see the Fabled Teaser Page, which simply states Coming Q3 2025.
That would give it a release date of between July-September 2025.
There's power in the tales we tell. Welcome to Disney Lorcana, a realm where magical stories come to life. Whether this is your first time playing the game, or you're returning to team up with a few new pals, there's something for everyone in Fabled!
Interesting, the preview text mentions this set is for both "first time playing" and "returning to team up". Could this be a special set featuring different cards for Lorcana, such as reprints?
No card previews have been shown as yet, but we expect to hear more about the set as Reign Of Jafar set is released and marketing for it concludes.
Unlike the Pokemon TCG, Lorcana sets are relatively easy to get hold of.
The only set that is tricky to get is The First Chapter, having been released in 2023. The set has received several reprints, with some special products like the Disney Lorcana: The First Chapter Starter Blister Bundle being released. This set also seems to hold some of the most expensive Lorcana cards in the TCG.
It now appears The First Chapter products are only available through tournaments and events or through 3rd party sites like Ebay.
