This Maleficent card is part of a set of 6 cards that you could purchase from the D23 Expo, where Lorcana made its debut to the world.

The 6 D23 Promo Cards could be purchased for $50.00 in a special binder. Only a small amount were made available over the 3-day event, with many people who queued up at the Lorcana Booth missing out.

All of these cards feature the First Edition symbol and the D23 Expo Symbol.

These cards are also available in The First Chapter set, but without the special First Edition and D23 Expo symbols. They also have a different foil style.
