MapleStory Burning World is a special type of server in MapleStory that rewards you with boosted EXP rates, item drops and more to help you level up new characters.
Burning World is a temporary world that opens up during events in MapleStory GMS. The world comes with boosted rates but closes after a period of time, allowing you to transfer characters created in Burning World to any of the regular worlds.
You cannot transfer Burning World characters to Reboot World.
MapleStory Burning World Effects
MapleStory Burning World is unique because it offers boosted rates compared to other servers and worlds available to players. The world is created for players who wish to create new characters and transfer them over to other regular worlds at the end of the event.
Burning World is great for increasing your Legion Score and for new players returning to MapleStory.
Burning World has the following effects:
- 1.5x EXP rate
- Attack Power & Magic Att: +50
- Damage Against Normal Monsters: +30%
- Damage Against Bosses: +30%
- Critical Rate: +30%
- Critical Damage: +30%
- Knockback Resistance: +100%
- All Stats: +50
- Max HP/MP: +2500
Burning World has the following restrictions:
- Cannot use Meso Market
- Limit some cash item purchases
- Cannot transfer Link Skills
- Cannot use Legion
- Cannot use Monster Collection
Mega Burning Characters
In Burning World. players can create "Mega Burning" characters. A Mega Burning character gains 3 Levels on Level Up instead of the usual 1. This effect lasts until Level 150 (after that you'll gain 1 Level like normal).
You can create up to 3 Mega Burning Characters in Burning World.
Mega Burning Characters also receive rewards in the form of Gift Boxes as they reach new Level Milestones. They are the following:

Additionally, you can claim Creation Celebration Gift on your new Burning World Characters:
- Flameborn Medal
- Pearl Maple Armor Set Box
- Hyper Teleport Rock (30days)
- Power Elixir x1000
- Spell Trace x1500
- Expand Inventory Slots up to 56.
Hyper Burning Characters
Hyper Burning Characters are similar to Burning Characters in that they gain 3 Levels per Level Up instead of the usual 1. A Hyper Burning Character has this level effect all the way up to Level 250!
Whilst Hyper Burning Characters are not limited to Burning World (you can create them on Regular worlds), you will get extra rewards for making them on Burning World.

World Leap
Once Burning World event comes to an end, the world will close and you won't be able to access it anymore.
However, before that happens, you will be able to transfer your characters to other MapleStory worlds, except for Reboot Worlds.
A special World Leap period will be announced, and when it is active, all characters will be taken to this map, allowing you to choose whether to transfer them or not.
Your character will be transferred with it's equipment, items and mesos in it's Inventory. However, your Storage Inventory and CashShop Inventory items will not transfer over, so make sure to move those to your regular Inventory before transferring.
A character must be at least Level 150 for you to be able to transfer it. You can transfer up to 5 Burning World characters to regular worlds.
Any characters that do not World Leap will be removed from the game.
