Jett Overview
Jett was originally released in 2012 as part of the Renegades Update and has gone through many updates since then. The class was originally famed for being under-powered, slow to level and full of broken skill mechanics. It has since been revamped, with one of its last updates coming in the Awake 2020 update, giving the class better damage and improving all the skills. Jett is a viable class for end-game bossing and has some great mobbing skills that will make leveling a breeze.
Training a Jett through the early levels is quite a breeze. They have decent mobbing skills in all job advancements and in fourth job you unlock a summon to help with map control. They have great mobility too, with one of the best flash jumps in the entire game. In 5th job, you get even more skills to help with mobbing (although on cooldown) and Jett's main mobbing skill was buffed to hit up to 10 mobs at a time in the latest update (V227). Overall, Jett is now considered a really good mobber and as you get through the 200-250 areas, you'll find it a really fun class to play.
Jett is also a great bossing class. They have some really powerful 5th job skills such as Anti-Gravity Cycle SFF-X Summon, which adds a HP shield that increases the amount of damage you can receive by 900% before death! Damage wise they are decent, with recent buffs to their skills adding lots of final damage to help them tear through end-game bosses.
