Vivillon is a Pokemon in New Pokemon Snap that has many different forms that you can find throughout the many different courses in the Lental region.
There is a total of 20 different patterns that Vivillon comes in and some of them require you to complete several tasks and actions to get them to appear. This guide will walk you through all the different Vivillon Patterns and how to get them!

All Vivillon Patterns
Meadow Vivillon Pattern
Course: Florio Nature Park (Day)
Easy to get at the beginning of Florio Nature Park.
Garden Vivillon Pattern
Course: Florio Nature Park (Day)
As you come round the corner for the last section, look back to see the Garden Vivillon.
Marine Vivillon Pattern
Course: Blushing Beach (Day)
Easy to find all over the course.
Ocean Vivillon Pattern
Course: Maricopia Reef (Evening)
Easy to find all over the course.
Jungle Vivillon Pattern
Course: Founja Jungle (Day)
Behind the waterfall alternative route.
Monsoon Vivillon Pattern
Course: Founja Jungle (Day)
Throw Illumina orbs at Aipom in the alternative route through the long grass. They will cut the tall grass and reveal the Vivillon Monsoon pattern.
River Vivillon Pattern
Course: Founja Jungle (Night)
As you come to the waterfall, you will notice some Morelull on your right. Scan and it will reveal three ???. Play music and three Vivillon will come out, including 1 River Pattern.
Sandstorm Vivillon Pattern
Course: Sweltering Sands (Day)
You can find them at the end of the course flying around.
Savanna Vivillon Pattern
Course: Sweltering Sands (Night)
When you come to the oasis with the lake, throw Fluffruit at the Lycanthorpe until they get mad (twice). There are three of them around. Once all three have been hit and made made, throw an Illumian Orb at the Crystalbloom to your right perched on top of a cliff. The Savanna Pattern will then fly out ahead of you. Spin around and you can also catch the Sun Pattern.
Sun Vivillon Pattern
Course: Sweltering Sands (Night)

High Plains Vivillon Pattern
Course: Fireflow Volcano
At the end of the route, a High Plains Vivillon will fly out of the end portal near the teleport.
Elegant Vivillon Pattern
Course: Elsewhere Forest (Day)
- First you need to take the alternative route in Elsewhere Forest so you end up in Winter Season. To do this, you must play music at the beginning and take the alternative path. Then throw an Illumina Orb at Espeon. The next map will be winter season.
- Rush through Winter Season with Turbo.
- Next you'll come back to Elsewhere Forest. You need to Illuminate a trail of Crystalblooms for a Deerling to follow on your right. Look to your right and you should see a Crystalbloom. Throw an Illumina Orb and a Deerling will come out and cheer. Another Crystalbloom will appear on your right, do the same thing. You will then come to two more Crystalblooms- Illuminate the furthest one from you. Then you will come to a single Crystalbloom; Illuminate it and Espeon will come out, followed by the Deerling. Then a Sawsbuck will come.
- This will allow you to take the alternative route to your right that leads you to a green forest.
- Once inside the green forest, throw a Fluffruit to Gardevoir so that he eats it and teleports away. Next on your left is Espeon; scan using your camera to alert him and then throw Fluffruit so that he jumps down and eats them.
- Espeon will then jump across to some rocks to your right. Keep scanning and throwing Illumina Orbs at Espeon so that he jumps back down.
- Now throw an Illumina Orb at the Crystalbloom at the center of the Deerling and Sawsbuck. This will trigger the Vivillon to appear; they can be spotted through the trees on your right.
Tundra Vivillon Pattern
Course: Shiver Snowfields (Day)
You can find the Tundra pattern in the middle of the course (just as you come to the cliff crack.
Polar Vivillon Pattern
Course: Shiver Snowfields (Day)
You need to unlock the Alternative Routes in Shiver Snowfields. Once you have done that, you'll smash through two lots of snow walls until you come to a cave and find the Polar Vivillon flying inside.
Icy Snow Vivillon Pattern
Course: Shiver Snowfields (Night)
You need to unlock the Alternative Routes in Shiver Snowfields. Once you have done that, you'll smash through two lots of snow walls until you come to a cave and find the Icy Snow Vivillon flying inside.
Archipelago Vivillon Pattern
Course: Outaway Cave
Take the alternative path to the Crystal Cave in Outaway Caves. Then summon Diance by Illuminating the three Pokemon; throw Illumina Orbs at Diance until she does the light attack. Then you'll get to take the alternative route to your left.
In this next area, on your right is a Crystalbloom. Throw an Illumina Orb at it. Right at the end of the course where the teleporter is an Archipelago pattern will appear.
Continental Vivillon Pattern
Course: Ruins Of Remembrance
Active the Elevator Of Light in Ruins Of Remembrance. Turn around 180 and you'll see the Continental Pattern floating upwards from behind the giant oblisk.
Modern Vivillon Pattern
Course: Elsewhere Forest (Day)
For modern pattern, you need to head to Elsewhere Forest Autumn stage. You can do this by either setting research level to 2 or when heading left to the alternative route, throw a Fluffruit for Espeon to eat.
Once in Autumn stage, you will see a Serperior across the stream on your left. You need to throw an Illumina Orb at it and play music to get it's attention. It will slither up the stream; repeat throwing Illumina Orbs and music until it curls up and swishes it's tail. Next, look directly up and towards your right for the Modern Vivillon Pattern.
Fancy Vivillon Pattern
Course: Research Camp (Day)
In the Research Camp Course, start at the top of the course next to the Neo-One. You'll head down towards a log full of water; there is a tree on your right full of Starly. Throw a Fluffruit at the tree to get them to scatter. They will then fly across the map; a Fancy Vivillon will then fly out of the tree the Starly flew towards.
Poke Ball Vivillon Pattern
Course: Research Camp (Day)
In the Research Camp Course, you'll start from the bottom of the course and come towards your NEO-ONE. Throw Fluffruit at the sleeping Dedenne so that it wakes up. Then lure the Dedenne to the back on the course using Fluffruit (behind the Neo-One) to the some long grass. You can use the Scan to figure out the location. The Pokeball Pattern will then appear and fly around the course.
