Below you can find a list of all the Pokemon available in Secret Side Path in New Pokemon Snap. Secret Side Path has both day and night versions; they were both added to the game after it's official release as new content for free, including several new Pokemon.
Night course is unlocked automatically after completing your first run of Secret Side Path.

How To Unlock Secret Side Path
Secret Side Path can be unlocked by scanning a tree in the middle of the course Florio Nature Park (day). You will automatically start the course once you scan it and then you'll be able to enter Secret Side Path from the Research Menu after.

Secret Side Path Pokemon List
Secret Side Path consists of three different research levels and has two themes: Day and Night. You will see different Pokemon at different levels and only some interactions are available at specific levels.
Below we've created a table of all the Pokemon in Secret Side Path, including their location and any interactions you need to perform in order to get them to appear.

Play music whilst in the log with the Bidoof and you'll be able to go over Torterra. From there, you can throw an Illumina Orb at the Vivillon for the green one to come out. |

You can get Magikarp to appear by Illuminating the two Murkrow near the Pinsir. The Murkrow will fly towards the Pidgeot in it's nest; throw an Illumina Orb at the Pidgeot and it will fly off. Then throw another Illumina Orb at the nest and a Magikarp will flop out. |
Alternative Routes Secret Side Path
You can unlock various alternative routes in New Pokemon Snap courses, leading you to find brand new Pokemon and get those unique diamond snaps. To unlock these routes, you will have to perform a variety of tasks:
Secret Side Path Day
- At the beginning of the course, after the Dodrio has jumped down and scared away Pichu and Scorbunny, scan and you can take the alternative route through the grass.
Secret Side Path Night
- If you scan the grass at the beginning of the course you can take the alternative route.
