Obsidian Flames contains 230 cards in total, with 33 of them being secret rare cards that collector's love to chase. Whether you're looking at how often a specific card is pulled or the rates of Special Illustration Rares, we've got you covered.
You can find Booster Packs of Obsidian Flames in Booster Boxes, Elite Trainer Boxes and Blisters for this third entry into the Scarlet and Violet series. It heavily features Charizard, who appears 4 times in different versions including a Special Illustration Rare, which is one of the best cards to pull in Obsidian Flames.
The rarity system for Obsidian Flames remains the same as the previous two sets: Paldea Evolved and Scarlet & Violet Base Set.
Booster Packs of Obsidian Flames also have a 100% chance to pull a rare holo or better. This change was made when Pokemon increased the price of Booster Packs for Scarlet and Violet.
Obsdian Flames Booster Pack Contents
When you open a pack of Obsidian Flames you'll get 4 common cards, 3 uncommon and then the chance of getting at least one Reverse card and the potential for 2 Rare+ cards.
You also get a Code Card for the Pokemon TCG Live app, which allows you to open a booster pack on the app.
You'll find the new rarities in Obsidian Flames which include Double Star Rare Holo, Illustration Rare and Special Illustration Rare. Keep an eye out for Hyper Rare and Ultra Rare cards too!
