Paldean Fates is here and with comes hundreds of holo shiny Pokemon TCG cards to add to your collections. With over 240 cards in the set, we've got the best cards to pull list covered for you!
If you haven't checked it out already, the Paldean Fates Card List will help you choose your own best cards to pull from this set. It is the 6th set to be released in the Scarlet and Violet series!
As Paldean Fates is not considered a "main entry" set, there are no Booster Boxes that come with this set. Instead, there are various Paldean Fate Products to buy. This year, the products are being released in different waves throughout the first part of 2024!
With that being said, there are plenty of amazing cards to pull from Paldean Fates. The set contains a total of 245 cards, with 154 being considered "secret rare" cards as they are outside the 91 set numbered cards.
Paldean Fates is similar to other "shiny Pokemon" Pokemon TCG sets, such as Shining Fates (for Sword & Shield) and Hidden Fates (for Sun & Moon). You'll find Shiny Pokemon a plenty in these sets!

Mew Ex - Special Illustration Rare
This card was revealed quite early on in previews of Paldean Fates and we still expect it to be one of the most hyped cards to pull! Mew EX Special Illustration Rare is one of the stand-out cards due to it the brilliant artwork and the fact that Mew is one of the most mysterious and rare Pokemon ever invented!
We're already seeing this card listed for $200+ on third-party marketplaces- it'll take some beating for sure to not be the best pull of Paldean Fates.
Clive - Special Illustration Rare
Most Special Illustration Rare cards are worth pulling so you'll find plenty in this list. But we really like the unusual art-style for this Clive card. It features quite a lot of "chibi" looking characters and I'm not quite sure we've ever seen this type of card before. It's definitely one we'd like to see more of though!
Charizard Ex - Special Illustration Rare
Charizard isn't going to miss a big set like Paldean Fates! This card will be up at the top-end of best pulls due to it being Charizard, but also it has the amazing crystal-themed artwork that Tera Pokemon have in the Scarlet & Violet set.
Whilst early doors this card is hitting $200+ mark, usually it takes a while for prices to settle so it will be interesting if this set will feature yet another Charizard as it's most expensive card.
Nemona - Ultra Rare
Nemona features three times in Paldean Fates and we chose the Ultra Rare version to be featured in this list. We just think this version looks a lot cleaner than the Special Illustration Rare.
Nemona features in the Scarlet & Violet games as your friend and is a Champion Pokemon Trainer.
Mew Ex - Shiny Ultra Rare
We have a new rarity dubbed the Shiny Ultra Rare cards. Whether these Ultra Rare cards will be any different to normal Ultra Rare cards- you'll have to see our Paldean Fates Pull Rates for that info!
Mew EX is back in our list; we think that this Pokemon will always be a top pull no matter what rarity it has.
Noivern Ex - Shiny Ultra Rare
Noivern EX makes our second Shiny Ultra Rare card in our Best Pulls for Paldean Fates list. Noivern evolves from Noibat, who also has a Shiny Holo Rare card in the set.
Miraidon EX - Hyper Rare
Hyper Rare cards in Paldean Fates are getting a new design and style. You have to pull one in the flesh to really get an idea of their new texture and design style. We went with the Miraidon mascot of the Scarlet and Violet series to be featured in our best pulls list, but it could have been any of them.

Ditto - Shiny Rare Holo
Whilst most Shiny Holo Rare cards shouldn't be too difficult to pull, we wanted to include at least one in our list due to them being the main feature of the set! We went with the awesome blue Ditto- it'd be great if they brough back the peel-off Ditto sticker feature seen in the Pokemon GO Card set.
Iono - Special Illustration Rare
Iono gets a spot on our list. She was also the top pull of Paldea Evolved so it's no surprise we see her back again amongst the Special Illustration Rare cards. In Paldea Evolved, this card settled for around $80 after release; do you think this version will surpass it?
Palafin - Illustration Rare
And finally, last but not least, the Palafin Illustration Rare! There is something about a dark and gloomy card that always gets me excited to pull it from a set.
