In Pokemon GO you can Mega Evolve Pokemon to earn temporary bonuses and super-charged your Pokemon in battle, giving you the edge in Raids and Trainer Battles.
In order to Mega Evolve a Pokemon, you need to collect that Pokemon's Mega Energy, which is primarily given out from Mega Raids.
