Shrouded Fable Preview - Pokemon TCG

The eigth set of the Scarlet and Violet series of the Pokemon TCG is called Shrouded Fable! This preview will show off the latest Shrouded Fable Products, Booster Packs, Promo cards and details on release date!

Shrouded Fable is a new main entry set for the Pokemon TCG, and with that comes hundreds of new cards for Pokemon TCG Collectors!

The set will continue the return of ACE SPEC cards, along with 5 Special Illustration Rare cards, 15 Illustration Rare Cards and 5 Hyper Rare Cards.

Shrouded Fable Release Date

Pokemon TCG Shrouded Fable set will release worldwide on August 2nd 2024. You can pre-order the set now at the PokemonCenter.com.

Shrouded Fable will be releasing after the Twilight Masquerade set, which is due to release next week!

With the announcement of the latest Pokemon TCG set, we also got to see the latest Shrouded Fable products being showcased.

Elite Trainer Box

As always, there are two versions of the Shrouded Fable Elite Trainer Box. The PokemonCenter exclusive version contains 2 Promo cards and 11 Booster Packs, whilst the original ETB only has 1 promo card and 9 Booster packs.

The Pokémon TCG: Scarlet & Violet—Shrouded Fable Pokémon Center Elite Trainer Box includes:

  • 11 Pokémon TCG: Scarlet & Violet—Shrouded Fable booster packs
    • Each Pokémon TCG: Scarlet & Violet—Shrouded Fable booster pack contains 10 cards and 1 Basic Energy.
  • 1 full-art foil promo card featuring Pecharunt with a Pokémon Center logo
  • 1 full-art foil promo card featuring Pecharunt
  • 65 card sleeves featuring Okidogi, Munkidori, and Fezandipiti
  • 45 Pokémon TCG Energy cards
  • A player’s guide to the Scarlet & Violet—Shrouded Fable expansion
  • 6 damage-counter dice
  • 1 competition-legal coin-flip die
  • 2 plastic condition markers

As Shrouded Fable is a special set, you won't be able to purchase Booster Packs individually or from Booster Boxes. Instead, you'll have to buy the special selected products like Elite Trainer Boxes, Collection Boxes or Mini-Tins.

Booster Bundle

Luckily, they are including the Booster Bundles that contain 6 Booster Packs each.

Greninja EX Special Illustration Collection

Two Collection Boxes have also been announced! First up is the Greninja EX Special Illustration Collection, which includes 5 Shrouded Fable Booster Packs and 3 promos, including a special Greninja EX full-art (see below for preview!).

Kingambit Illustration Collection

Kingambit Illustration Collection contains 3 promo cards including Kingambit full-art and 4 Shrouded Fable booster packs.

Shrouded Fable Card Previews

If you're looking to get a head start on the Shrouded Fable cards, here are some early previews that have been officially released.

The set is to contain:

  • Three ACE SPEC rare Trainer cards
  • Five Pokémon ex and one Tera Pokémon ex
  • 15 illustration rare Pokémon
  • 10 ultra rare Pokémon ex, Tera Pokémon ex and Supporter cards
  • Five special illustration rare Pokémon and Supporter cards
  • Five hyper rare gold-etched cards

The promo given out for the Elite Trainer Box is the Percharunt.

Pokémon really needs to chill. There should be a bit longer time between releases of new sets. It would be much more exciting if it were just a few sets a year. Not this "Gotta catch all the cash".

It's pretty much standard at this point. Usually a week before the new set comes out, they announce the next x.x

well !!! this sets are going too fast,ther's no time to enjoy this hobbie.. Two sets at year will be perfect. with really good valuable price cards to chase , must be made challenging.what really makes it interesting as well is the quality of design in characters. is only my humble opinion...

I agree that Pokémon is releasing sets waaay to often. It's getting ridiculous. I'd say about 3 sets a year would be perfect.
