Ordinances are special upgrades you can learn in Spiritfall by speaking to The Mediary at the Sanctum. Ordinances stay with you throughout your Dungeon runs, so they're well worth investing in.
To upgrade your Ordinances you'll need to obtain Esoteric Scrolls that can be earned randomly when you complete a level in a Dungeon.
Certain Ordinances only become available when you clear a Dungeon's boss; they usually offer better boosts to help you progress through Dungeons faster.
