Stellar Crown is out now and the 7th main entry set for the Pokemon TCG Scarlet and Violet series introduces another 175 new cards for you to collect!
With only one more set to go before the year is out (Surging Sparks), Stellar Crown brings us more Stellar Tera Pokémon ex (a pokemon form introduced in the Scarlet and Violet series), ACE-SPEC cards and more Hyper Rare cards.
Stellar Crown comes in at 175 cards, which includes 6 special illustration rare cards (the highest rarity) and 3 hyper rares. There are also 13 Illustration Rare cards to collect, which have some of the best artwork in the series so far.
You can check out the full Stellar Crown Card List here.
Stellar Crown is the fifth Pokemon TCG Set to be released this year, coming after:
Let's dive into the set and choose our best pulls!
Stellar Crown Best Cards To Pull
With each Booster Pack of Stellar Crown including 11 cards, the chance of pulling the highest rarity cards is quite low! However, if you do manage to get a higher rarity, it is likely to be one of the best pulls of Stellar Crown.
We've chosen cards we think will be the most popular, have the best artwork and go for the highest price on third party marketplaces!
Terapagos ex - Special Illustration Rare
The chase card of the set has to be the amazing Terapagos ex Special Illustration Rare card. Not only does it have gorgeous art, it's also the highest rarity (SIR). Currently hitting around $100 on third-party marketplaces, this card features the Stellar Tera Pokemon form that the Scarlet and Violet series has been pushing since release.
Lapras ex - Ultra Rare
Plenty of great Ultra Rare cards in Stellar Crown and we've chosen the Lapras ex card for our list. It features the crystallized artwork by 5ban graphics (there are also 3 other similar cards). Lapras is of course part of the original 151 Pokemon, making it a popular Pokemon to pull.
Bulbasaur - Illustration Rare
This card looks like it came straight out of the Pokemon 151 Card Set released last year! As an Illustration Rare, this card shouldn't be too hard to pull and features adorable artwork of the starter Pokemon Bulbasaur.
Squirtle - Illustration Rare
And if you liked the Bulbasaur card, you'll also want to get your hands on the Squirtle Illustration Rare card too. There isn't a Charmander in this set, so you'll have to pick your favorite of these two starters.
Galvantula ex - Special Illustration Rare
This Electric/Bug type Pokemon will also be one of the most sought after pulls for Stellar Crown. Galvantula ex is featured three times in this set (Double Rare Holo, Ultra Rare and Special Illustration Rare) so if you're a fan of spiders you're in luck!
Terapagos ex - Hyper Rare
There is only one Hyper Rare card that features a Pokemon in Stellar Crown and so we've chosen it for our Best Pulls list. The other two cards are Trainer cards, which will feel a little disappointing if you pull them over this. Terapagos is the star of the Stellar Crown set, so it's only right it gets the Hyper Rare spot too!
Lacey - Special Illustration Rare
The most popular trainer card in Stellar Crown is currently the Lacey Special Illustration Rare card. It currently is sitting at around $80 in second position behind Terapagos.
Raboot - Illustration Rare
One of the best Illustration Rare cards in the set is the Raboot Pokemon. Raboot evolves from Scorbunny, which was recently introduced into Pokemon GO in the latest update.
Meditite - Illustration Rare
Meditite also makes our list for it's beautiful artwork by Yuriko Akose, a third-generation Pokemon introduced in Ruby and Sapphire. You can also find it's Fighting/Psychic type evolution Medicham in this set, but only as an Ultra Rare!
Briar - Ultra Rare
The final card in our list is Briar, a teacher from the Scarlet and Violet series who works at the Blueberry Academy. It may be a tough pull being an Ultra Rare, but you can also pull the Special Illustration Rare version too if you get extremely lucky!
