Surging Sparks Preview - November Release Date - Pokemon TCG

Surging Sparks is the latest set announced for the Pokemon TCG and will be releasing this November worldwide. This is the 8th main set entry for the Scarlet and Violet series and is the sixth set to be released in 2024!

Surging Sparks is set to feature fan-favorite Pikachu in its Stellar Tera form! It will also feature Dragon-Type Pokemon, along with ACE SPEC cards and Tera EX Pokemon.

This will be the sixth Pokemon TCG Set to be released this year, coming after:

Pokemon TCG announced the set will include the following cards:

  • Eight ACE SPEC cards

  • Nine Stellar Tera Pokémon ex and nine Pokémon ex

  • 23 illustration rare Pokémon

  • 11 special illustration rare Pokémon and Supporter cards

  • Six hyper rare gold etched cards

  • Over 250 Cards!

Surging Sparks Release Date

Surging Sparks will be released at all retail stores starting from November 8th 2024.

Pre-release kits will go out a couple of weeks before on October 26th, which you can obtain by participating in pre-release tournaments at your local card store.

The pre-release kits will include Booster Packs and a selection of cards.

Surging Sparks Japanese Set

Paradise Dragona

Surging Sparks is the name of the English set for the Pokemon TCG and is based off Japanese Sets: Paradise Dragona and Supercharged Breaker.

Japan is the first to get the latest Pokemon TCG cards, and the English version usually takes cards from Japan sets to create their own.

Paradis Dragona is set to release in Japan on September 13th 2024 and Supercharged Breaker is set for October 18th 2024.

So far we've gotten a the Magneton Promo release!

This card will be available in all Pokemon TCG Surging Sparks ETBs! If you purchase the PokemonCenter ETB, you'll also get a special version (along with the normal one) that includes the PokemonCenter logo.

The Pokémon company really needs to chill with all these sets. We just got shrouded fable 3 weeks ago and we still have stellar crown coming out in about a month

Seriously, a new set already?! Pokémon are destroying this hobby by producing sets in an absurd rate! Chill, give us 3-4 sets a year and stop being greedy!
