This guide will go through the Best Obols to use in IdleOn no matter whether you're focusing on grinding mobs or leveling up a skill.

IdleOn Obols can be obtained once you reach World 2 in IdleOn and act as another source of equipment stats.

Whilst Obols drop like normal items, they do not go into your Inventory. Instead they will be deposited into your Obol Inventory that can be accessed from the Obol Statue in World 2 or from the Codex Menu.

Obols come in many different shapes and rarities, so knowing which ones are best to equip can be a bit challenging.

Compared to other areas of the game, Obols are nice to have, but not essential. The stats they give can be underwhelming compared to the effort you might have to go to get them.

But as another source of progressing your IdleOn Characters, it's always worth trying to get the best possible stats.

Obol Equipment Slots

Your Obol Equipment slots unlock as you increase your character's Level.

With the Family Tab, the slots are based on the combined level of all your characters.

At Level 250, you'll have maxed out all Obol Equipment Slots, allowing you to equip the following:

For the Family Tab, you'll need a total of 5,000 combined levels among all your IdleOn characters to unlock the following slots:

Best IdleOn Obols

The best Obols to have in the game are the Hyper Obols, which can only be obtained from the Gem Shop.

Since getting Hyper Obols can be quite painful, even with getting Free Gems to buy them with, we've created two separate Best Obol Lists: one with Hyper Obols, and one without.

Best-In-Slot Obols

The best Obols to get are Drop Rate. IdleOn is constantly needing you to farm items and drop rate is the best way to increase this.

With the setup below, you will gain a total of 151% Drop Rate. Of course, this setup is extremely difficult to get due to these Obols being behind the RNG of Hyper Obol Stacks.

Best-In-Slot Damage Obols

This next setup is about maximizing damage. It is preferable to get Drop Rate over damage, but a mix and match of the two can be a good idea. 

Below are the best-in-slot damage increasing Obols. You can switch out the Sparkle for the Molten Obol of Dead Divine on your other characters for AFK Gains.

Best-in Slot (no hyper)

The following are the best Obols to have without including the Hyper Obols.

Again, this setup focuses on Drop Rate. Bronze Obol of Pop are really easy to obtain from Gigafrogs, and can be rerolled/upgraded to have a max of 4% Drop Rate.

This setup gives you a total of Drop Rate of (without rerolling): 127% or with rerolling: 139%.

Note: You can switch out the Vigilant Obol of Ice Guard for Golden Obol of Triple Sixes since they're much easier to obtain and only have a difference of 1% Drop Rate.

Best-In-Slot (no hyper) Damage Obols

For damage Obols, you can use the Platinum version of your main stat for your IdleOn's character (it'll give you +7).

The total stats from this setup should be:

Main Stat: +111
Weapon Power: +24
Base Damage: +300
Defence: +14
Total Damage: +8%
All Stats: +3%
