There are lots of different items in the IdleOn Gem Shop to buy and so our Gem Shop Tier List will rank each item based on what will give you the biggest boost for your account. We've also ranked all the Gem Shop Packs based on value for money since you cannot get them any other way.

Gems are used to buy items from the IdleOn Gem Shop.

We've ranked all the Gem Shop items according to this system:

Tier S - The best items in the Gem Shop, well worth getting over all others and likely to give you the biggest boosts going forward.
Tier A - Great items to buy when you have enough Gems available.
Tier B - Useful but not quite as important as A or S Tiers. Only buy these if you're overflowing with Gems!
Tier C - Avoid these unless you've got unlimited amounts of money!
Tier D - Not worth getting at all really. Only get to show off!

With that being said, let's dive into our list!

Tier S Items

Some of these items may not be available all the time, especially if they were included in the Limited Time section.

Out of all the the items in the Gem Shop, these items are the most important to get.

You'll be using Alchemy throughout your IdleOn adventure, and so having the massive boosts from the Cauldrons will help get Bubbles quicker, generate Liquids quicker and just generally help you progress faster.

In World 1, you'll want to make sure you get the Infinity Hammer, which is essentially doubling your materials output.

World 3 gives you access to the 3D Printer and you'll want to buy the Crystal 3D Printer, which allows you to print two items at once. It's incredibly powerful and only gets better as you progress in the game.

Cards are very important too, and you'll want to get the 4 extra Card Slots ASAP so you can get more easy bonuses. The card preset is also valuable and allows you to switch easily between skilling and damage card sets.

Tier A Items

For some of you, these items will also be S Tier items. However, we felt you can get away with not having these items for a while, so only buy when you feel you reach a progression bottleneck.

Souped Up Tube	Each purchase soups up 2 lab Tubes. Players in souped-up tubes get 2x Lab EXP gain, and +30% Line Width. Keep in mind, players are played in tubes in chronological order.	480	5	World 4
Divinity Sparkie	Boosts the amount of Divinity Points and Divinity EXP gained by +25% for all of your players! Also adds a divinity sparkie that wanders around the deity volcanos, pondering its existence.	250	6	World 5
Golden Sprinkler	The Sprinkler in the garden, which instantly regrows sprouts, now has a 30% chance to not use up its charge! Each additional purchase boosts this chance by 1.5x! Instantly unlocks Sprinkler if not unlocked yet!	400	4	World 5
Lava Sprouts	Increases the maximum number of sprouts your garden can hold by +1! Also adds a small lava sprout to your underground gamer lair, which completements the dankness of the ground walls!	310	6	World 5

For the A Tier list, we recommend getting the Brimstone slots to help with Crafting Items. You'll increase the amount of Bars you get, which become a lot slower as you start crafting items from Anvil Tab IV onwards.

When you reach World 4, you'll want to buy the Royal Egg Cap to increase the amount of breeding eggs you can hold, and boost your breeding chances.

Likewise, Cooking is a slow skill in World 4, so buying the Richelin Kitchens for the ones you're using is worth it.

The Laboratory in World 4 and Divinity in World 5 are both AFK stations. You literally will just be spending hours upon hours in these areas of the game to unlock bonuses. The best way to speed up this part of the game is with the Souped Up Tube and Divinity Sparkie.

Next up in boosting the Gaming Skill with the Sprinkler and increasing the amount of sprouts your garden can hold.

Tier B Items

There are a lot of Tier B Items from the Gem Shop, mainly because they are nice boosts, but not essential to enjoying IdleOn.

Console Chip	Gives you a random console chip. There are currently 22 Chips in the game, so you have a 1 in 22 chance of getting any particular chip. This item restocks each week.	385	7	World 4
Mainframe Jewel	Gives you a random Jewel that you don't already own. No need to worry about duplicate jewels! This item restocks each week, unless you own all Jewels, then it won't restock.	450	2	World 4
Chest Sluggo	Increases the maximum amount of chests your sailing Loot Pile can hold by +1! Also adds a Chest Sluggo to roam around your dock! (Note: Not every purchase will visually add another slug, it'd be too chaotic!)	250	12	World 5

All of the Useables that help increase capacity like Storage Slots are all great items to buy if you have excess Gems. You get plenty of Storage Space and Inventory Bags through the game naturally anyway.

In World 4 you can boost the Laboratory early on by purchasing Jewels and Chips. All of these items are available in-game, but they're on rotation and can be hard to obtain early-game.

The Daily Teleporter boost only really needs one purchase- you won't normally run out of free teleports.

When you find The Hole in World 5, you then can purchase plenty of boosts to help with uncovering The Caverns.

The 5-Star Cardifier is an essential item for anyone looking to maximize their card stats, and Card Packs in generally are not worth buying unless you're very early-game and want to get some quick boosts.

Tier C Items

Go ahead- buy them if you want! But you might be better off saving your Gems for Limited-Time items that keep cropping up!

The Premium Items are nice to have but are not essential, especially since equipment doesn't give much damage boosts anyway in IdleOn.

Increasing Sample Size is nice to have if you hate getting 3D printer samples and having more Fenceyard/Pet Storage can help with managing Pet Breeding.

We don't recommend Card Packs or Arcade Balls, but you might want to max an Arcade bonus before it moves out of rotation or try your luck at getting some boss cards for extra damage.
