Weekly Battle - IdleOn

April 24, 2025

The Weekly Battle mini-game can be found in World 2 Yum-Yum Desert and allows you to earn trophies that you can spend on a variety of goodies. Each week a different boss battle will be chosen, where you will need to select the right moves to defeat it.

You can begin the Weekly Battle boss fight by selecting the NPC at the top-right of Yum-Yum Grotto (the home map of World 2). The NPC will change depending on which boss has been chosen for that week.

How Weekly Battle Works

Weekly Boss Battle

Each week a random boss will be chosen for all IdleOn players to face. There are 5 difficulty levels and defeating each one will reward you with a currency called Trophies.

You can spend your Trophies in the Weekly Battle Shop, which holds a variety of different items that rotate each week.

When facing a Weekly Battle, you will cycle through all your IdleOn characters to perform an action.

You start with your first IdleOn character and are given 3 different options. These options can be one of three types:

  • Attack - These usually deal direct damage to the boss
  • Buff - These will increase the damage of your Attack options
  • Misc - These can buff your stats outside of the Weekly Battle. They are reset each week.

The amount of damage you deal is based on the Boss's Theme. A Boss has up to three themes and each time one of your IdleOn character takes a turn, the damage is based on one of the themes for that boss.

Theme

The theme of the boss can be see in the middle of the UI beneath your character.

Once all your character's have taken their turns to act, you'll have the option to reset the fight to the first difficulty. You only get one reset per day.

Weekly Battle Bosses

Defeating each Boss level rewards you with a specific amount of trophies (total 35 per boss):

  • Level 4: 7 Trophies

Weekly Battle Moves

Battle moves are randomly decided each round. They can be of either (ATTACK), (BUFF) or (MISC).

Misc Moves can give bonuses outside of the weekly battle to your IdleOn characters, but they are reset each week.

Type Description
Attack You steady your nerves and strike the boss directly, dealing x damage
Buff You drop your weapon, drawing attention and allowing the next ATTACK to deal x% more damage
Buff You tell the others of a new technique, so every ATTACK in the future deals x% more damage
Misc Tired and slightly agitated, you take a tea drinking break, giving +x% Class EXP for all characters.
Attack You burn their skin, dealing x damage. This exact damage re-triggers each time an ATTACK is chosen.
Buff You conjure a friendly spirit, which boosts all damage dealt to boss by x%
Attack You clamp a cursed ring to their toe, dealing x damage now and each time a BUFF is cast in the future.
Attack Dual wielding the next characters weapon, you deal x damage, but the next char can't choose ATTACK.
Misc You add extra chilly cheese to everyone's hotdogs outside the fight, giving +x% DMG to all characters
Attack You just start randomly grabbing weapons, dealing x damage, but the next 2 chars can't choose ATTACK.
Buff You cast a gross but effective fog, increasing all damage by x%, but the next char can't choose BUFF.
Attack You trip and fall dealing x damage lmao, but the boss's HP gets set to 30% from laughing so hard.
Buff You align the energy in the air, so that the next BUFF is 2x more powerful, except for this one. No 4x for you.
Buff You create a portal to the 'oof owie' dimension, so that whatever damage hits the boss next is doubled.
Misc You notice a trophy on the ground, and run to pick it up instead of attacking.
Attack Deal x damage for each previous ATTACK cast. If 3 or more, rewind a character and reset number of casts
Buff Boost all damage by x% for each previous BUFF cast. If 3 or more, rewind a character and reset number of casts
Misc You reminisce on all the times MISC was cast. If 2 or more, rewind back to 1st character. This only works once.
Misc You tell a really freakin' funny joke to your final character, who gets to select an extra turn!
Attack You sense weakness and deal a crushing blow of x damage. If boss is under half HP, damage is dealt twice.
Attack Punch them into yesteryear, dealing x damage. If 9+ ATTACK casted, rewind to 1st character. Only works once.
Buff Summon a blackhole, boosting all damage by x%. If 9+ BUFF casted, rewind to 1st character. Only works once.
