Calm before the Storm is a side quest in Visions of Mana, below you can use the guide to find out how to complete it.

You can pick up the quest Calm before the Storm in Tsaata during Chapter Four.
Speak to Swordmaster Chathis to start the quest.
In order to complete this quest, you need to defeat the Nemeses mob (Lvl 18) Beguiling Celaeno.
You can find (Lvl 18) Beguiling Celaeno at Khaswia Moors.
The Beguiling Celaeno is weak to Fire elements, so if you have the Salamander Candle, you should transform into a class using that Elemental Vessel.
The Beguiling Celaeno can also cause Paralyze status effect, so if you have any seeds that negate this, equip them also.
Once defeated, head back to Swordmaster Chathis to complete the quest for your reward:
