Dudbear is a special merchant in Visions Of Mana that allows you to exchange Grizzly Syrup for rare items. He is located in several different towns and some of his items are in limited quantity.
You can start earning Grizzly Syrup once you enter Charred Passage in Chapter One. Grizzly Syrup appear as big giant honey balls and are scattered around the map.
When you reach Longren, Vale Of Wind, Dudbear will appear and allow you to buy items from him. He will then appear in several other towns with more items so it's well worth collecting the Grizzly Syrup!
