Greater Elemental Aerie are challenges you can complete on various maps in Visions Of Mana. These timed trials give you a special reward if you manage to complete them all.
There are a total of 8 Greater Elemental Aerie challenges to complete. In order to activate them, you must first complete all the Lesser Elemental Aerie challenges found in the same map.
You can either use our Interactive Map to find all the Elemental Aerie challenges, or use the maps below to help.
Entering an Elemental Aerie will not give you game over if you fail it. Your HP, MP and CS strike will all remain when you exit, allowing you to challenge them over and over again until you get your strategy down.
Fire - Greater Elemental Aerie
The Fire Greater Elemental Aerie can be found in the Charred Passage.
There are a total of 3 Lesser Elemental Aerie challenges you need to complete before you can activate it.
You can locate the Greater Eelemental Aerie challenge towards the north of Charred Passsage near Dorpher Volcano.
You have a total of 30 seconds to complete two rounds of enemies that are Level 75.
The enemies are Dark Funk, which are immune to physical and magical attacks apart from Water attacks.
Since you only have 30 seconds to win, you'll need to enter the Greater Elemental with a fully-charged CS strike to wipe out a round.
Morley can be learn the move water move Geyser when unlocking the class Ascetic with the Undine Flask. Unfortunately the Undine Flask does 0 damage to the Dark Funk monsters.
You should therefor equip as much Int boosting stat seeds, critical boosting stats and any kind of damage increase with water to Morley. Then when the battle starts, you should be spamming the Geyser move until you reach the second round.

Upon the second round starting, trigger your CS move.
Your reward is Oath of Embers (seed).

Air - Greater Elemental Aerie
The Air Greater Elemental Aerie can be found in Aery Passage.
There are a total of 3 Lesser Elemental Aerie challenges to complete in Aery Passage.
The Greater Elemental Aerie has a time limit of 2 minutes to complete. The mobs are all Level 99! They consist of:
- Stren
- Mamablue
- Blood Owl
- Hippogryph Claw
Overall this Elemental Aerie is quite easy. You have plenty of time to take down the mobs (we did it at level 70!).
You'll be given the Oath of Gales (seed) as a reward.
Moon - Greater Elemental Aerie
The Moon Greater Elemental Aerie can be found in Lefeya Drifts.
There are a total of 3 Lesser Elemental Aerie challenges to complete in Lefeya Drifts.
You can have 20 seconds to complete the Moon Elemental Challenge.
The mobs in the Moon Elemental Challenge are vulnerable to physical attacks (magic will barely harm them). There are three waves, so you need to get into this fight with a fully charged CS move.
Equipping the Shuriken node will allow you to throw it around the arena fast, sometimes connecting with two mobs at the same time. Once you wipe out the first and second rounds, blast the third with your CS Strike.

Water - Greater Elemental Aerie
The Water Greater Elemental Aerie can be found in Pritta Ridge.
There are a total of 3 Lesser Elemental Aerie challenges to complete in Pritta Ridge.
You have 20 seconds to complete the Water Elemental Challenge. There are a total of 5 rounds to complete!
The crab mobs that are in each round are easy to wipe out with the Blaze Wall ability. You'll want to spam that constantly throught the fight. When get to the last round, you'll face a strong crab, which you'll need to wipe out with the CS charge.

Wood - Greater Elemental Aerie
The Wood Greater Elemental Aerie can be found in Ahrvet's Pasture.
There are a total of 3 Lesser Elemental Aerie challenges to complete in Ahrvet's Pasture.
You'll have 2 minutes to take down this Greater Elemental Challenge. There are three rounds.
The first round starts off with Frost Dragon and Kid Dragon. The Frost Dragon can freeze you, so equip any Null Freeze items.
The first round you should use Morley to blast through them with his CS move. Then in the second round you'll want to use Palamena to cast multiple Blaze Walls, Blizzards and anything else to take out the mobs.
If you have the Cactus Soul seed you can usually charge up another CS move to blast the third way out too.

Earth - Greater Elemental Aerie
The Earth Greater Elemental Aerie can be found in Zawhak Desert.
There are a total of 3 Lesser Elemental Aerie challenges to complete in Zawhak Desert.
You have a total of 1:30 seconds to complete this Greater Elemental Aerie. There are three rounds.
The first round you can wipe out pretty quickly with Palamena's Udine Flask move. The second round wipe out using Palamena's CS move.
Then for the final round just spam magic around the place.

Darkness - Greater Elemental Aerie
The Darkness Greater Elemental Aerie can be found in Log'grattzo Dark Archives.
You don't need to complete any Lesser Elemental Aeries for this one.
You have a total of 20 seconds to complete this Greater Elemental Aerie. There are two rounds.
The first round you need to use the Light Elemental Vessel and charge it (hold down the button) so that all the mobs get linked together. This will allow you to chain your light attacks together and wipe out the mobs.
Then in the second round you need to use the Class Strike. If you don't have enough damage with the Class Strike, you can find a few Seeds that will increase damage. Also, completing Chapter 10 and unlocking the final Elemental Plot will add more damage.

Light - Greater Elemental Aerie
The Light Greater Elemental Aerie can be found in Radiant Playhouse Terratio.
You don't need to complete any Lesser Elemental Aeries for this one.
You have two minutes to complete this Greater Elemental Aerie. There are four rounds for this fight.
It's relatively easy; just spam magic attacks like Blaze Wall to wipe out the mobs and have a fully charged CS move to wipe out one of the rounds.
