You can pick up the quest Rubinus Ex Machina in Charred Passage during Chapter Eight.
Speak to Voyager Berzer outside the Dorpher Volcano in Charred Passage.
He will ask you to defeat Guardian mobs that have appeared in Dorpher Volcano.
Head into the Volcano and you can find the mobs on the right hand side.
Defeat them and they will drop the item Red Ore that you will need to pick up.
Return to Voyager Berzer to get your reward:

- Crimsonite
