You can pick up the quest Tails With Tales To Tell in Illystana during Chapter Eight.
Head to the fountain just in front of the Palace in Illystana and a cutscene will trigger between Insecure Lilytea and Kindhearted Maik.
They want you to ask other people what they think of their tails.
Head to Deade Cliffs and speak to Beast Watcher Harbadris.
Head to Longren and speak to Oracle-in-training Rengei.
Return back to Illystana and speak to Insecure Lilytea. She will run off.
You can then find her in Pritta Ridge, where you'll need to defeat a bunch of Silktail.
Return to Kindhearted Maik to get your reward:
- Myriad Wishes (seed)
