Visions Of Mana has plenty of different mechanics to keep track of, and you can easily miss important details on your first play through that would have made your life a lot easier.

We've compiled some of the most important areas of the game when it comes to exploring, combat and completing the game.

Best Elemental Vessels

In the early game, Elemental Vessels are limited. You unlock all of them by Chapter 5, but some you'll find are more useful than others.

Undine Flask

One of the best Elemental Vessels has to be the Undine Flask.

It allows you to shoot out a beam of water, wiping out many enemies at once. If you hold it down to trigger the Elemental Break, it will also cover the arena in water and all mobs will get put into a bubble.

It unlocks in Chapter 2.

Mana Tree

The Wood Elemental Vessel will also allow you to summon a Healing Tree that will heal anyone near it over a period of time.

EXP Boosters

Increasing the amount of EXP you get after a battle is a great way to speed up progression. There are several methods:

Items

You can use items like Mythic Cookie to gain 20% extra EXP from battle. It lasts for 10 minutes at a time, so you should pop it right before a big boss battle in order to get that EXP bonus!

If you enter a battle with only 10 seconds remaining on the cookie, it will still give you the 20% EXP after the fight.

Lil Cactus

Lil Cactus

The Lil Cactus will give you EXP Bonuses depending on the amount of them you find. Check out the Lil Cactus Location guide to find them during your journey.

Valorflies

Like items, these will give you a 100% Bonus EXP rate and can be found wondering maps. They only last for a single minute though.

You can use the same tactic of running into a battle before it expires, as you'll still get the EXP boost.
